Mayo star Conor Loftus scores the winning penalty to clinch All-Ireland title weeks after tragic death of fiancée
Conor Loftus was the hero for his club Crossmolina Deel Rovers as he kicked a penalty deep into stoppage time to win the Intermediate Club All-Ireland football Championship.
With Crossmolina trailing by two points heading into the sixth minute of stoppage time, Stephen Duffy was dragged to the ground by Ballinderry goalkeeper Ben McKinless with the goal at his mercy.
After a lengthy delay, centre-half back Conor Loftus stepped up and slotted his penalty into the bottom left corner to win the title for his club with the last kick of the game.

It has been a tumultous few weeks for Loftus and everyone associated with Crossmolina after the tragic death of his fiancée Róisín Cryan, whose body was recovered from The River Moy in Ballina, Mayo, on January 11.
Today's final was due to be played two weeks ago but was refixed after the tragic event.
Immediately after the full-time whistle, Loftus ran down the tunnel and went back into the dressing room as his teammates celebrated and were handed the cup by GAA President Jarlath Burns.
Loftus' last-gasp goal made the scoreline 1-12 to 0-15, with Crossmolina picking up the two-point win.
