Apr. 2—The Buffs are bracing for battle next fall.

McAlester released its 2024 football schedule, outlining the path through the next season for the Buffaloes.

Things will kick off in August as McAlester hits the road for its annual scrimmage against Wagoner. The Bulldogs will host the 2024 edition Aug. 23.

After taking a break with a bye week, McAlester will open up district play with a road contest against Durant Sept. 27.

The Buffs will host Coweta at home in the first game of October, while also welcoming Lil' Buff Cheer to the sidelines as they join their high school counterparts.

Senior Night will be held on Nov. 1 as the Buffs host Sapulpa, while also celebrating the McAlester youth football league.
