Met Office weather warnings issued ahead Tottenham Premier League game against Leicester City
Tottenham Hotspur's game against Leicester City on Sunday could be postponed due to the impact of Storm Éowyn. Ange Postecoglou's side, who were beaten 3-2 at Everton last time out in the Premier League, host the Foxes in a huge game as they bid to end their five-game top-flight winless run.
However, there is a risk that the game might be called off. Storm Éowyn is set to cause chaos and bring major disruption to the United Kingdom over the weekend. While Northern Ireland and Scotland are expected to be worse off, the Met Office have issued two yellow weather warnings for London & South East England.
The first one is because of heavy rain that could cause some local flooding on Sunday and Monday. On what to expect, the Met Office said: "There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses. There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.

"Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services. Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures. There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life."
Meanwhile, the second warning is that strong winds is 'likely' to cause some disruption on Sunday. On what to expect, the Met Office said: "Some delays to road, air and ferry transport are likely. It's likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.
"Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer. Some short term loss of power and other services is possible. Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely."
One Premier League game has been postponed due to adverse weather this season. Everton's final Premier League game against Liverpool at Goodison Park was called off due to the impact of Storm Darragh in December and has since been rearranged for Wednesday, February 12.
While it's unclear whether Tottenham's game against Leicester is going to be postponed, the game is scheduled to go ahead at 2pm on Sunday as planned at this stage, but updates are expected in the coming days.
