Met Office weather warnings issued ahead of Manchester United Premier League clash against Fulham
Manchester United's trip to Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday could be postponed due to the impact of Storm Éowyn. Ruben Amorim's side, who were beaten 3-1 by Brighton last time out in the Premier League, travel to Craven Cottage looking for just their second win in seven top-flight matches.
However, there is concern that the game might be called off. Storm Éowyn is set to cause chaos and bring major disruption across the United Kingdom over the weekend. Although the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland are expected to be the worst hit, the Met Office have issued two yellow weather warnings for London & South East England - the region in which United are scheduled to be playing.
The first one is because of heavy rain that could cause come local flooding on Sunday and Monday. On what to expect, the Met Office said: "There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses. There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.

Meanwhile, the second warning is that strong winds is 'likely' to cause some disruption on Sunday. On what to expect, the Met Office said: "Some delays to road, air and ferry transport are likely. It's likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.
"Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer. Some short term loss of power and other services is possible. Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely."
One Premier League game has been postponed due to the weather this season. The Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool, scheduled for December 7, fell foul to windswept conditions caused by Storm Darragh and has since been rearranged for Wednesday, February 12.
