AFC Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez appears to have poured cold water over suggestions that a transfer to Liverpool could be on the cards in the near future. The Reds' current left-back Andy Robertson's contract is due to expire in 2026 and there is an expectation that Arne Slot and FSG should be planning for his replacement.

Kerkez has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season and his style of play would suit the Liverpool defence. His existing relationship with international teammate and Reds midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai is also thought to be a driving factor behind the rumours linking the Hungarian with Anfield.

However, the 21-year-old has insisted in a recent interview with Nemzetisport that there is still a lot he wants to accomplish with Bournemouth. "It wouldn’t look bad [working with Szoboszlai at Liverpool], that’s for sure," he explained.

"But it’s too early to talk about something like that. I have big goals with Bournemouth, we still have a lot of games to win, that’s the most important thing right now."

Meanwhile, Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz. The 19-year-old has been a regular feature in the Turin club's team this season having amassed six goals and five assists in 37 appearances.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve are looking to sell £83m worth of talent in the summer transfer window as they aim to balance their books. Yildiz is near the bottom of the list of players they want to sell but should no bids arrive for Andrea Cambiaso and Dusan Vlahovic, Juve could be left with no other choice.

Yildiz is thought to be worth £75m alone and it is claimed his agent Jorge Mendes met with the teenager and Juve decision makers recently to confirm that a number of clubs in the Premier League are interested in his client. Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are the teams thought to hold an interest.

The Reds could be in need of a winger in the summer, especially if Mohamed Salah leaves at the end of his contract.
