Missing Liverpool fan 'was arrested after assaulting police officer' in Madrid
A missing Liverpool fan was found in Madrid after being arrested by Spanish police, according to local reports.
Macauley Negus, 23, witnessed his side beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitano.
The Plymouth-based Reds supporter was said to have gone missing from the Goya area in Madrid.

Spanish media subsequently reported he had been arrested for ‘assaulting a police officer’ and was brought before a court on Monday morning.
Mr Negus’ family did not confirm the report of arrest despite confirming he had been found.
He is said to have driven to Madrid with his father, where he ‘lost his phone’ in the post-match celebrations before an appeal was shared on social media.
A missing persons report was then filed.
Madrid’s British Embassy confirmed to the BBC they were ‘supporting the family of a British man who has been arrested’.
