Mohamed Salah has at least an 86 per cent chance of his 'dream' at Liverpool coming true
If at first you don't succeed, try and try again. It is a method that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has employed countless times this season, and he is now just one goal away from hitting the 20 mark in all competitions since Arne Slot took over.
Clearly, it would be unfair to say that Salah has struggled in any sense this season for Liverpool. It would be reasonable to say, though, that he often comes to life in the second half of matches. Against Leicester, that pattern continued.
Stifled by Leicester defenders including Victor Kristiansen and Jannik Vestergaard for a large period, Salah was beginning to look a bit frustrated. Given one clear shot of goal, however, he came to life and clinically found the bottom corner.

Salah made the points secure for Liverpool even though he had to wait for his opponent to tire. And as has been mentioned many times amid the wait for him to pen a new contract at Anfield, the Egyptian isn't likely to wane first in any battle.
He now has 100 goals at home in the Premier League — "Something I am very proud of," Salah said at the final whistle, no doubt already aware of his latest milestone — and amid the negotiations over an extended deal, his focus hasn't shifted.
"We keep working hard and hopefully I can go a bit further," he told the BBC. "The most important thing is the team winning — hopefully we win the Premier League.
"It is great, but we focus on each game and hopefully we carry on like that. It feels different, but the most important thing is we need to stay humble. This one is very special, hopefully we win the Premier League and for this club it is something I dream of."
Salah and his teammates couldn't be doing much more right now. Blessed with more squad depth than any other team in the top flight and with Slot managing the minutes of his key men effectively, Liverpool is seven points clear with a game in hand.
While no one at Liverpool would be rushing to publicly admit it, the Reds have a huge chance of glory. Indeed, before this latest round of fixtures, Opta rated the percentage chances at a whopping 86.
With Chelsea losing and Liverpool winning again, Slot's men must be even likelier now. With Salah firing them forward, they won't be relenting even with a substantial gap.
