Mohamed Salah says five Liverpool stars need to win Premier League 'before we all go'
Mohamed Salah has spoken of his desire to win the Premier League with Liverpool alongside a host of his long-term teammates before they all end up leaving Anfield.
The Egyptian forward has once again re-iterated the 2024/25 campaign looks to be his final one as a Liverpool player after telling Sky Sports: "It's my last year in the club so you want to do something special for the city."
While Liverpool has offered Salah, as well as Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, new deals, the 32-year-old is reportedly far away from agreeing to terms on a new contract with the Reds. His current deal expires in six months, with it unclear where Salah will be playing next term.

With Liverpool currently sitting six points clear ahead of second placed Arsenal, and with them having a game in hand on the Gunners, things could not be better for the Reds in the Premier League.
The added noise brought about by Salah's recent Sky Sports interview ahead of Sunday's clash with Manchester United, and the talks about Alexander-Arnold's potential move to Real Madrid in the summer have raised a number of questions for Liverpool to answer - potentially casting a long shadow over the coming weeks and months on Merseyside.
However, away from that, Salah and his teammates, the likes of Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Alisson, are all focussed upon one thing. The quintet were part of the 2019/20 Jurgen Klopp side who lifted the Premier League title, albeit behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I still believe the team needs a trophy," said Salah. "There is still half of the team left like me, Trent [Alexander-Arnold], Virgil [Van Dijk], Alisson, Robbo [Andy Robertson]. It's necessary for us to win another trophy before we all go."
Liverpool.com says: No one could have predicted this is just how Liverpool's season would turn out. For all the drama surrounding the Reds contract issues, they have lost just one game this season. They are undefeated in Europe.
This Liverpool side, led by the likes of Salah, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Robertson and Alisson, could be set for a swansong finish to their time together at Anfield.
