MORTON in the Community hope to welcome their next cohort of participants to take part in their Life Skills Cafe.

The next 12-week block of the programme will run from January 25 until April 25, 2025.

Life Skills Café is Morton in the Community's employability and work experience course providing opportunities for adults with Additional Support Needs.

The course runs for two days per week. One day serves as work experience with Parklea Branching Out in the Parklea Cafe or horticulture or landscaping, whilst the other day is spent developing employability skills.

This will see participants work on their interview skills, CV building, job application support and mock interview practice with Morton in the Community.

Morton in the Community is also encouraging women in Inverclyde to sign up for its next women-only Get Fit for Free programme, starting on January 27.

Anyone interested in either event can sign up via the 'Morton in the Community' page on Facebook.
