Morton WFC boss Gary Forbes aware of Renfrew task after Westdyke win
MORTON WFC boss Gary Forbes has challenged his side to build on their brilliant win over Westdyke Ladies - but is aware of the task in front of them in the form of a buoyant Renfrew side.
The Parklea team make the short trip to New Western Park this weekend to face off against their Championship rivals, looking to make it consecutive wins for the second time this season.
But Forbes says he knows his players will be up against a side on a high following on from a high scoring win against Inverness last time around.
And he's been pleased with the way his side have reacted to the demands he's placed upon them - none more than the one he gave them ahead of last week's win over their Aberdeenshire rivals at Parklea.
He told the Tele: "I'd said to the girls after the Inverness game that we need to start games quicker and that we need to stop conceding goals so early on.
"I'm really pleased we've been able to do that in our performance against Westdyke last time around.

"For us, now, we need to build. We've managed to get another three points on the board and our full attentions are now on Renfrew on Sunday.
"We're ready to go up there and give a good account of ourselves and hopefully pick up some points, but we're under no illusions as to how hard it'll be.
"They're coming into the game off the back of a fantastic result against Inverness away from home. They're a good team, but it's a game we're capable of going and winning."
Forward ace Jennifer Caldwell says that Ton want to try and get themselves in the mix to be finishing in the middle pack of the SWF Championship.
And the experienced striker says the challenge for her and her teammates now, is to try and put a consistent run of form together in the second half of the season.
She added: "We've got a few games coming up that will be tricky, and if we get something out of them, we'll definitely get ourselves into the mix.
"We want to hopefully get to the top end of the bottom half and pushing a wee bit more and get closer to that pack, that's what we're trying to do.

"It's just trying to put back-to-back performances, and I think even though we never got the result that we wanted last week.
"I think the two performances that we've had at home this half of the season have been excellent, so it's just about building on that now."
