'Much better players' - Arne Slot delivers Manchester United verdict ahead of Liverpool fixture
Liverpool boss Arne Slot believes Manchester United are "much, much, much better" than the Premier League table suggests.
United currently sit 14th in the standings, just seven points above the relegation zone. They have lost five of their last six league outings, including all of their last three.
It means Ruben Amorim's troops will make the journey along the M62 for Sunday afternoon's clash at Anfield as massive underdogs. The two sides are currently separated by 23 points in the table, with Liverpool riding high at the summit.

However, Slot, who led Liverpool to a 3-0 win at Old Trafford back in September, has suggested United are in a false position as far as the table is concerned, saying they will soon start to rise under Amorim's stewardship.
"A strange question [about resting players]," said Slot, addressing the media on Friday morning. "No, I don't plan to, it's a big game.
"I think, for me, I said it before the first fixture and I can say it one more time: they have much better players, in my opinion, than maybe the league table shows at the moment.
"It will take a while maybe for Ruben Amorim but they will definitely go up and they are much, much, much better than the league table shows."
Slot, who has won 23 of his opening 27 matches as Liverpool boss, also said that he sympathises with Amorim, who has lost six of his first 11 matches as United head coach.
The Liverpool boss continued: "I think every manager sympathises with every other manager, because we all know how much pressure this job brings.
"That's not different for him than for me, or for any other manager that works in the Premier League, or somewhere else around the world."
