How did the players fare in Newcastle United's 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth?

NEWCASTLE (4-3-3):

5 Dubravka: Made a couple of decent saves, but should probably have done better with at least one of Bournemouth’s goals

Livramento: Came off second best against Semenyo for most of the game before he switched to the left late on

4 Botman: Didn’t look comfortable against the pace and fluidity of the Bournemouth attack and was taken off at half-time

3 Burn: His game fell apart under Bournemouth’s pressure, especially when it came to passing out from the back

4 Hall: Was given a torrid time by Brooks down the Newcastle left, although did swing over the corner for Guimaraes’ goal

6 GUIMARAES: Newcastle’s standout player – scored and was at least looking to drive his side forward

5 Tonali: Didn’t have the time in which to operate that he likes and gave the ball away on a number of occasions

5 Joelinton: Showed plenty of spirit and fight, but was another who kept on conceding possession

4 Murphy: Didn’t have much an impact down the right-hand side before he was taken off midway through the second half

5 Isak: Barely touched the ball – his only shot was a second-half free-kick straight into the wall

4 Gordon: Gave the ball away by Kluivert’s hat-trick goal and delivered a series of dreadful set-pieces

Subs:

Schar (for Botman, 46): Wasn’t able to shore up Newcastle’s defence in the second half

4 Trippier (for Hall, 65): Was outpaced by Semenyo on a number of occasions

5 Willock (for Murphy, 65): Didn’t add anything after coming on in the second half

Osula (for Guimaraes, 90)
