How did the players fare in Newcastle United's 2-1 home defeat to Fulham?

NEWCASTLE (4-3-3):

6 Dubravka: Made a good second-half save from Smith Rowe and couldn’t really have done anything about either goal

4 Livramento: Had some difficult moments against Iwobi and picked the wrong pass on a couple of occasions in the Fulham half

5 Schar: Did reasonably well in the first half, but struggled in the second and miscued a number of long passes

6 BURN: Won a succession of important first-half headers, but couldn’t half Fulham’s second-half attacking

4 Hall: Was given a stern defensive examination by Traore and wasn’t able to get forward as he would have wanted

5 Guimaraes: Tried to get Newcastle onto the front foot, but was never really able to take control of the central area

5 Tonali: Came close with an excellent shot that hit the bar, but gave the ball away in the build-up to Fulham’s opener

5 Joelinton: Showed plenty of fight, but had plenty of ragged moments in possession before he was taken off

6 Murphy: Scored with a clinical finish and was one of Newcastle’s brighter lights for most of the game

5 Isak: Couldn’t get into the game for long periods, but came close with a second-half strike against the bar

5 Gordon: Only flickered into life sporadically, although did provide the cross that led to Murphy’s goal

Subs:

4 Trippier (for Livramento, 64): Couldn’t prevent Fulham from being the dominant force in the closing stages

4 Willock (for Joelinton, 64): Wasted a glorious opportunity when he failed to make any contact from Isak’s cross

Osula (for Murphy, 87)

Miley (for Guimaraes, 87)

Kelly (for Hall, 87)
