Newcastle United Carabao Cup Final 2025 tickets latest as Magpies seal Wembley return
Newcastle United are off to Wembley for the second time in three years. Yes, you heard that right, the Magpies will get their chance to end a 70-year drought for a major trophy in the 2024/25 Carabao Cup final on Sunday, March 16 after beating Arsenal 4-0 on aggregate.
Leading 2-0 from the first leg at the Emirates last month, Eddie Howe's side made a fast start to the second leg and took the lead in the 19th minute. After Alexander Isak saw an opener disallowed by VAR for offside, Jacob Murphy put the Magpies 1-0 ahead with a fine first-timed finished in the 19th minute.
Arsenal had chances to get back into the game but it was Newcastle who scored the second of the evening and the fourth of the tie. Anthony Gordon pounced on an error and fired home in the 52nd minute. While the Magpies could have score more, they settled for a 2-0 win on the night and 4-0 on aggregate.

Newcastle now have five-and-a-half weeks to wait until next month's Carabao Cup final, where they will face Tottenham or Liverpool. With this in mind, the Magpies faithful are going to be wondering about when tickets might go on sale, and here, Chronicle Live can provide you with the latest.
Ticket details for this year's Carabao Cup final haven't been released yet with the Toon's opponents still to be decided. The Magpies announced prices and release dates for the 2023 final just three days after their two-legged semi-final win over Southampton.
It's uncertain whether a similar time frame is going to follow this time around, but there would be no surprise if it comes before the weekend or at the start of next week. That would, therefore, give Newcastle fans plenty of time to get their tickets and make plans for getting down to the final in over a month's time.
When Newcastle released a statement regarding 2023 details, the tickets were "split into separate priority periods based on eligibility criteria automatically contained within your club ticketing account".
The Magpies could do the same this time around, with ticket sales taking place on different days depending on whether a supporter is a season ticket holder, has loyalty points or has been to Carabao Cup home matches this season. Newcastle have enjoyed four home matches in this competition this season - against Wimbledon, Chelsea, Brentford and now Arsenal.
Before the 2023 final, fans were able to buy a maximum of six tickets per transaction. They were sold online, with general admission tickets not able to be bought in person or over the phone.
Disabled supporters, however, who required additional support during their relevant eligibility period could purchase tickets online or by contacting the Box Office, during office hours, on 0344 372 1892, subject to availability. This is expected to continue in place for this year's sales.
Regarding how much tickets were when Newcastle last were in the Carabao Cup final, price categories were split into five sections. The Magpies were placed in the west side of Wembley, though it's not been confirmed where the Toon Army will be located ahead of this year's final.
For the 2023 final, category 1 was priced at £100 for an adult, £75 for a young adult and £50 for concessions. Category 2 was £90 for an adult, £67.50 for a young adult and £45 for a concession. Category 3 was £72 for an adult, £54 for a young adult, £36 for a concession. Category 4 was £56 for an adult, £42 for a young adult, £28 for a concession. Category 5 was £40 for an adults, £30 for a young adult and £20 for a concession.
As stated above, Newcastle are set to release a statement regarding ticket details for the Wembley final in the coming days and fans should expect to find out more then.
