Newcastle United face deadline decision on striker after loan enquiries
Newcastle United are facing a potential deadline day decision on William Osula with a clutch of EFL clubs and European outfits keen on a loan deal.
Sturm Graz made an enquiry earlier this month with Newcastle not committing to the idea of a loan at that stage. Osula has played just 41 minutes of Premier League action since arriving for £15million from Sheffield United.
Newcastle are lacking cover in the striker department but Callum Wilson is edging back to fitness after a hamstring injury. The long-term concern for Osula is the lack of minutes because while the young Dane enjoyed a run out in the FA Cup against Bromley, when he netted his first Toon goal, his chances of action are slim.

Osula has been an unused sub 15 times out of 23 squads this season under Eddie Howe. Although, Howe has called for patience with the Aarhus-born player.
Howe recently said: "I think you have to be patient with all the players because everyone develops at different rates. As long as I see the right attitude and the right commitment to the process, I'll back a player and I'll wait until the time is ready for them to step into the team.
"We always, me and the players and the coaches, we go on a journey, respective journeys with players. It's never a straight line, there are always ups and downs on the way."
Howe says that Osula is doing the right things in training and added: "His best asset, as you saw from the goal against Bromley, is his pace and he can score. We have seen that regularly in training, he can score, he's a good finisher."
