Newcastle United player ratings as Alexander Isak scores perfect 10 but four others grab 9s
Alexander Isak scored his first Newcastle United hat-trick with a superb display against Ipswich Town.
Newcastle grabbed the lead on just 25 seconds when Jacob Murphy's cross into the danger area hit Sam Morsy before Alexander Isak cashed in. The lead was doubled on 32 minutes when Murphy lashed home off the bar after Anthony Gordon's assist.
Isak netted a second on the stroke of half-time after Bruno Guimaraes forced Jens Cajuste into an error before supplying the Swedish star in the box. At 3-0, a long half seemed to be ahead of the Tractor Boys but Newcastle were not finished.

Murphy's run into the box was followed by a back-heel into the path of Isak who calmly slammed home for his hat-trick six minutes before the hour.
Here's how the Newcastle players rated overall:
Martin Dubravka 7
Didn't have too many saves to make but good organisation helped earn a clean sheet.
Tino Livramento 7
Did not need to overlap too much with Jacob Murphy in sparkling form. A decent shift before coming off for Trippier.
Fabian Schar 8
A wonderful long pass for Murphy to get things started. Playing with a knock.
Dan Burn 7
Did everything right with a good display of leadership.
Lewis Hall 8
Looks like the real deal when gliding forward.
Joe Willock 7
Involved in the second goal and saw one second half effort go just over. Just 16 touches but valuable minutes in the tank.
Sandro Tonali 9
This is the type of display Newcastle fans dreamed of when he was banned. Showed a great variation between long and short passes. Almost unplayable.
Bruno Guimaraes 9
Fully focused as he chased every ball. That was typified with his constant chasing to set up the all-important third goal. Warmly applauded off by the visiting fans after an assist and one effort that cracked the base of the post.
Anthony Gordon 9
A constant threat as he probed all afternoon. Beat four men to set up Murphy.
Jacob Murphy 9
A sizzling display from the forward who had a big hand in the first before smashing home number two. A sublime back-heeled assist completed a dream afternoon. Not bad for 64 minutes work!
Alexander Isak 10
The perfect 10? A ruthless display against the Tractor Boys as he showed no mercy with his finishes to collect the match ball. Actually could have had more with a couple of other opportunities coming his way but let's not get picky!
