Newcastle United star Joelinton's home broken into again as he pleads for 'family space'
Newcastle United star Joelinton has suffered a second burglary at his Tyneside home this year.
The Brazil international's home was targeted by thieves last year with Joelinton taking to social media to plead with culprits to leave his family alone. Joelinton posted: "Our home was broken into again. To anyone considering doing this - please know that there is nothing valuable left here!
"What we care about most is our family's safety and our kids growing up without fear. We hope for a community where our children, and everyone's children, feel safe. We ask that our home be respected as a safe space for our family. We simply want to live in peace."

On January 13 this year burglars broke into Joelinton's home while his team played Manchester City. On April 4 his team-mate and neighbour Alexander Isak’s home was also targeted by thieves who stole his car which was later found abandoned three miles away
After the January incident, Northumbria Police had released a statement after the Newcastle player's home had been broken into. They said then: A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Shortly before 7.30pm yesterday (Saturday) police received a call from a concerned homeowner who reported that three men were inside their home on Runnymede Road in Darras Hall.
"Thankfully the homeowner was not home but had received a security alert on their phone and immediately reported concerns to police. Police were deployed to the scene. However, those alleged to be involved had fled."
