With the odds plummeting on Philippe Clement being sacked at Rangers, fans are already talking about who could potentially succeed the Belgian in the Ibrox hot-seat.

Clement came in for fierce criticism following Thursday night's disappointing 1-1 draw against Dundee at Dens Park.

The drab result sees Rangers languishing 15 points behind rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership and many pundits are expecting a change in the dugout before the season ends.

Sean Dyche - who was sacked as Everton boss on Thursday - has emerged as the 2/1 favourite, with former England man Gareth Southgate next best at 5/1 and ex-Gers boss Steven Gerrard third in the market at 11/2.

It is also just 4/6 that Clement is gone by the end of January, which would be a popular move amongst most Rangers fans.

Other names being linked with the post include Wayne Rooney, Russell Martin and Gennaro Gattuso.

Another popular name included in the early betting odds is Northern Ireland legend Steven Davis who enjoyed two successful spells at Ibrox before retiring back in January last year.

Davis has been working with Michael O'Neill and the Northern Ireland international set-up, gaining valuable experience as he looks to a potential future in management. He also briefly managed Rangers on an interim basis following the sacking of Michael Beale.
