It wasn't the two majors or the record of winningest Canadian golfer – male or female – that solidified it for Brooke Henderson. It wasn't until Henderson took a look at her own bobblehead that she felt she'd crossed a certain threshold of fame.

"I feel like as an athlete, when you have your own bobblehead, you've kind of made it," she said with a laugh after unveiling mini Brooke.

The Brooke Henderson bobblehead giveaway takes place March 10 at the Ottawa Senators home game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Henderson, 27, is a native of Smiths Falls, Ontario, and grew up playing goalie.

“I had a lot of pressure on me for a lot of the time to stop the puck when it really counted,” she once said of her formative years on the ice.

Last September, Henderson signed a multiyear sponsorship with the Senators. Henderson and her sister Brittany, who works as her caddie, wear the Senators colors at least once per tournament and Brooke's towel and water bottle feature the NHL team's logo.

A 13-time winner on the LPGA, Henderson won the 2015 Cambia Portland Classic after Monday-qualifying to earn LPGA membership.
