Nick Chubb injury update: Latest update on Cleveland Browns' star running back
The Cleveland Browns dropped their second straight game in Week 4, losing on the road to the Las Vegas Raiders 20-16. They're 1-3 on the season, with two more road games in the next two weeks.
The Browns' offense is struggling in 2024. The offensive line is suffering from injuries. They're 31st in yards per game behind only the New England Patriots and 27th in the NFL in scoring. That's on pace for the worst offense in head coach Kevin Stefanski's tenure in Cleveland.

One bright spot is the potential return of four-time Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb who's been out since Week 2 of last season with a knee injury. Here's the latest on his return.
When will Nick Chubb be back?
Chubb started the season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, but Stefanski said Monday the team is opening Chubb's practice window.

This means the Browns have 21 days to move him from the PUP to their active roster. He's not expected to play in Week 5 but will be back in practice starting tomorrow. That opens up the possibility for him to be active for Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles or Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Nick Chubb injury details
Chubb tore the ACL and meniscus in his left knee in the Browns' game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 last season. He underwent multiple surgeries to repair his knee a year ago and missed the rest of the season.
Chubb started all 17 games in his last healthy season (2022) and was a second-team All-Pro. Jerome Ford has been the primary running back in his absence. He has 39 carries for 203 yards and a touchdown so far in 2024.
