It's finally time for the very last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park. Everton host Liverpool in the final encounter between the two teams at the Grand Old Lady ahead of the Blues' moved to their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in the summer.

And having had to wait even longer for the game after Storm Darragh forced the delay of the match in December, anticipation is building to what will be a decisive contest between the two sides.

Everton can pull even further away from the relegation places and continue their improved form under David Moyes, who returned to the club in January after Sean Dyche's departure. Moyes has guided Everton to three victories in his four Premier League games in charge to take the Blues nine points clear of the bottom three.

Meanwhile, Liverpool can open a considerable gap to Arsenal at the top of the table and strengthen their Premier League title ambitions with a win. The Reds are currently six points ahead of the Gunners but have been waiting a number of weeks to play their game in hand on Mikel Arteta's men.

And so it means a huge game for the two sides, but both will be hampered by the absence of certain players from their squad for the match.

Everton have been hit harder with injuries in recent weeks and go into the game with a number of key players sidelined. Moyes is at least boosted by the return to training of first choice left-back Vitalii Mykolenko, who missed the FA Cup defeat to Bournemouth through injury.

But certain to miss the game are attackers Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja, as is winger Dwight McNeil. Orel Mangala is also out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Captain Seamus Coleman is still out and Nathan Patterson is another concern.

Liverpool have better news after Trent Alexander-Arnold returned to training following a thigh complaint. Curtis Jones is fit to play but Joe Gomez will miss the game with a reoccurrence of the hamstring problem that kept him out in January. Tyler Morton is also out.
