Noni Madueke sends Trevoh Chalobah six-word message after stealing his goal on Chelsea return
Noni Madueke sent his Chelsea teammate Trevoh Chalobah a message after stealing his goal in their side's 3-1 win over Wolves.
Enzo Maresca's Blues got back to winning ways at Stamford Bridge on Monday, their first three-point haul in five Premier League games. They leapfrogged Manchester City and Newcastle United back into fourth position.
Tosin Adarabioyo put the hosts ahead midway through the first half, before honours were even once again after Matt Doherty pounced on a Robert Sanchez error to level. It didn't take long for Chelsea to regain the lead with Marc Cucurella's strike, but then came the moment of controversy.

Following a loan spell at Crystal Palace, centre-back Chalobah made an impressive return to the Blues backline. And what a better way to cap it off than by scoring the all important goal - or so he thought.
The 25-year-old jumped the highest to Cole Palmer's free-kick and knocked the ball down. It was well on its way passed Wolves goalkeeper José Sá before Madueke nodded it home.
It was the attacker's fourth goal of the season against their Black Country opposition after his hat-trick in the 6-2 demolition job at Molineux in August.
After the full-time whistle, it didn't take Chalobah long to take to social media. He posted a picture of him winning the header on his Instagram, to which Madeuke shared that to his own story with the caption: "You know I love you g."
The Blues no.11 told Sky Sports he had to make sure the ball went over the line. "Yes, for sure it’s instincts, attacker’s instinct. I think I knew it was going over the line but I said sorry to Trevoh after, an assist on his first game back is great but I had to put this in the net for sure," he said.
"He was saying, 'no way you took my goal' but I said, 'bro, come on, you have to understand that this is what they pay me to do'."
But Madeuke was full of praise for his comrade: "Unbelievable, leadership, character, bravery on the ball. Of course the system from the manager is difficult to play and he slotted in seamlessly, I’m really delighted for him.
"It’s no coincidence that players like him and Reece [James] are back in and we won the game, they’re Chelsea through and through and they helped us tonight with their leadership for sure."
