Rovers' upcoming Championship fixture against Norwich City at Ewood Park has been selected for live broadcast.

The match, which takes place on Saturday, March 1, will now kick off at 12.30pm to be shown on SkySports+.

Norwich currently find themselves 11th in the table and five points off the play-off places ahead of their trip to Watford.

The points were shared when Rovers travelled to Carrow Road earlier in the season, with Ryan Hedges and Yuki Ohashi both getting on the scoresheet in an entertaining 2-2 draw.

There was also nothing to separate the sides at Ewood Park last season, with Dom Hyam cancelling out Marcelino Nunez’s opener.

Rovers’ last win in the fixture came in November 2023 when Sam Szmodics bagged a brace. Tyrhys Dolan was also on target in Norfolk, while Scott Wharton was sent off in the second half.

Meanwhile, the FA have confirmed that John Eustace has been fined £4,000 and warned for “misconduct” for comments made after Rovers’ 1-1 draw at Leeds United.

Danny Batth’s late equaliser earned a point at Elland Road on New Year’s Day after Pascal Struijk had put the hosts in front from the penalty spot.

It was a controversial decision, with Dom Hyam judged to have brought down Mateo Joseph in the box by referee Olive Langford.

After the final whistle, Eustace labelled the decision as ‘soft’ and argued that Rovers would not have been given the decision at the other end.

A statement read: “John Eustace has been fined £4,000 and warned for misconduct in relation to media comments that followed the EFL Championship match between Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United on Wednesday, January 1.

“It was alleged that the head coach acted in an improper manner during post-match interviews by making comments that imply bias and/or question the integrity of a match official and/or are not in the best interests of the game.

“John Eustace admitted to the charge against him. An independent Regulatory Commission imposed his sanctions following a hearing."
