‘It’s not coming home’ – Scotland, Wales and Ireland fans laugh at England’s Euro 2024 misery
Scotland, Wales and Ireland fans had a laugh at England’s expense following their Euro 2024 heartbreak against Spain on Sunday.
England’s wait for another major trophy will extend to 60 years of hurt after Spain triumphed 2-1 in the final in Berlin. And fans of England’s traditional rivals wasted no time in mocking Gareth Southgate’s side after the match.
SNP MP for Aberdeen South, Stephen Flynn, posed for a picture posted on X as he pretended to wipe away his tears, while one user on social media reposted Tennent’s billboard that previously poked fun at England.

As fans queued up to indulge in some schadenfreude after England failed to triumph in Germany, Spain’s Marc Cucurella also had the last laugh.
Cucurella hit back at Gary Neville after the ITV pundit had previously claimed he was the reason they could not win the European Championship.
Chelsea defender Cucurella found the time to post a message on his Instagram account directed at Neville in the aftermath of Spain’s win.
Responding to a quote from Neville that read, “I think he [Cucurella] is one of the reasons I think Spain probably can’t go all the way”, the Spain left-back said: “We went all the way Gary. Thanks for your support.”
