Nottingham Forest boss Nuno makes two changes as team to face Wolves named
Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in tonight’s big clash.
The Reds are in action for the first time in 2025 and they go into the game at Molineux looking to extend their winning streak. They made it a club record-equalling five Premier League victories in a row last time out as they ended 2024 in style.
Goals from Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White saw Forest triumph 2-0 away to Everton. They claimed the three points despite being without Callum Hudson-Odoi (dead leg) and Ryan Yates (suspended) and having lost Murillo to an adductor problem during the warm-up.
Murillo and Hudson-Odoi have recovered and are back in the line-up this evening, while Yates has been named on the bench. Murillo and Hudson-Odoi replace Morato and Ramon Sosa in the two changes made to the starting XI.
Murillo will take his place alongside Nikol Milenkovic at centre-back, with Ola Aina and Neco Williams making up the back line ahead of goalkeeper Matz Sels. Elliot Anderson and Nicolas Dominguez keep their places in midfield.
Hudson-Odoi will join Anthony Elanga and Morgan Gibbs-White in support of front man Chris Wood. The bench will be made up of Carlos Miguel, Morato, Taiwo Awoniyi, James Ward-Prowse, Alex Moreno, Jota Silva, Yates, Ramon Sosa and Willy Boly.
Forest: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams; Anderson, Dominguez; Elanga Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood. Subs: Miguel, Morato, Awoniyi, Ward-Prowse, Moreno, Jota, Yates, Sosa, Boly.
