Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Exeter City in tonight’s FA Cup tie.

Following Liverpool’s defeat to Championship Plymouth Argyle on Sunday, the Reds are the highest ranked side remaining in the competition. They are eager to keep it that way and avoid being on the end of a fourth round upset at St James Park.

Forest know that a win would set up a home clash with Ipswich Town in the next round. But Nuno has warned the Grecians are not to be underestimated, with the fate of the Premier League leaders serving as a warning of what can happen in the cup.

Just as against Luton Town in the previous round, the Reds head coach pledged to “reward” players who have seen little game time with minutes in this evening’s game. He has made 10 changes to the starting line-up from the 7-0 thumping of Brighton and Hove Albion with Danilo the only player to keep his place.

Carlos Miguel has been designated as the cup goalkeeper. Ahead of the Brazilian, it is set to be a back line of Eric da Silva Moreira, Willy Boly, Harry Toffolo and Alex Moreno.

Ibrahim Sangare is set to make his first start since recovering from a hamstring injury. He will line up alongside Ryan Yates in midfield.

Danilo looks likely to play in the No.10 role, although it could be a 4-3-3 formation rather than Nuno’s usual 4-2-3-1. Jota Silva and Ramon Sosa will be on the flanks providing support for front man Taiwo Awoniyi. The bench will be made up of Matz Sels, Morato, Neco Williams, Elliot Anderson, Morgan Gibbs-White, Chris Wood, Nicolas Dominguez, Anthony Elanga and Zach Abbott.

Forest: Miguel; Moreira, Boly, Toffolo, Moreno; Sangare, Yates; Jota, Danilo, Sosa; Awoniyi. Subs: Sels, Morato, Williams, Anderson, Gibbs-White, Wood, Dominguez, Elanga, Abbott.
