There are a number of clubs in the Championship but also abroad, too, who are reportedly keen on Nottingham Forest forward Emmanuel Dennis. The striker is expected to leave the club once again in this transfer window, which runs until 11pm on the 3rd of February, and there are clubs interested in taking him - but Forest are going to have to find some middle ground.

The Sun report that Dennis, who joined from Watford in the summer of 2022 in a deal which could've risen up towards £20m, is free to leave the City Ground again this month having not made a single appearance under Nuno Espirito Santo this season.

The Nigerian forward, 27, has spent two loan spells away from Forest since joining, one in Turkey with Istanbul Basaksehir and then, in the second half of last season, a second stint with Watford at Vicarage Road. Dennis hasn't played for Forest since the final day draw at Crystal Palace in May 2023.

Watford are considering offering Dennis a third spell with the club, while Sheffield Wednesday are eager to source reinforcements this month as they pursue a Championship play-off place. Both clubs, though, can only offer Forest a small portion of Dennis' overall salary, which is reportedly in the region of £4m.

Dennis, who has 18 months remaining on the contract he signed when joining Forest, has also been linked with Rangers. Forest are willing to listen to permanent and loan offers for a player who has made only 25 appearances for the club and who has scored twice - once in a draw with Aston Villa and another in a defeat to Newcastle United.
