Nottingham Forest star 'teases' Trent Alexander-Arnold after draw with Liverpool
Callum Hudson-Odoi seemed to poke fun at Trent Alexander-Arnold in the wake of Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.
The Reds were off the pace in the first hour at the City Ground and failed to produce a shot on target until the 66th minute. Chris Wood’s early strike had given the hosts the advantage and Liverpool looked a little disjointed.
Alexander-Arnold was among those not at his best and, despite having more touches on the field than any of his team-mates, an expected assist of 0.29 was low for his lofty standards. Liverpool also failed to register a dangerous chance from any of his nine crosses into the box.

Arne Slot responds to transfer question as Jamie Carragher makes Liverpool demand
While Alexander-Arnold’s performance was a significant improvement on his last Premier League outing against Manchester United, he won just one of his five duels and Forest’s goal came from a gap between the Liverpool right-back and Virgil van Dijk.
And Hudson-Odoi seemed to pick up on another indifferent night for the England international when he posted an image on Instagram, from the game showing him dribbling with the ball as Alexander-Arnold appeared to be knocked to the floor.
In reality, the Forest winger wasn’t particularly effective himself. He managed just one dribble all night and didn’t create any chances for team-mates.
But his social media post comes at a time when there’s heightened scrutiny on Liverpool’s no.66, mainly due to his contract uncertainty and a possible impending transfer to Real Madrid. He was heavily criticized for his recent performance against United, although did follow that up with two encouraging displays in the Carabao and FA Cups last week.
Even Jurgen Klopp weighed in on the subject, unprompted, during his recent unveiling as Red Bull’s Head of Global Soccer. “I can't believe you all discuss this still. It is so poor,” he stated. “I am really happy that I am not part of it.
“I watched some press conferences where Arne Slot is getting asked and it is like 'They still don't understand'. He didn't play well against Manchester United but if we made as much of a fuss when he does play well, then it would be really cool.”
