Nottingham Forest transfer news latest as door open for Nuno to win four-club race
Nottingham Forest are reportedly in a four-club chase for El Hadji Malick Diouf who has not ruled out a move from Slavia Prague next month.
The wing-back has had an excellent start to the season having played 28 games, scoring six goals and registering three assists. That has put him on Forest's radar, according to Africa Foot, with Brentford, Villarreal and Stade Rennais also said to be keeping a close eye on the 20-year-old.
With Diouf's performances continually catching the eye, the player himself says he is aware of speculation about his future but is happy to leave it to his advisors.
"It's normal that good performances attract the interest of clubs," Diouf told Africa Foot. "I often see the media mention teams interested in my profile, but I leave this management to my agent. I stay focused on the field."
When asked where he would like to play in the future, and he is unlikely to be short on offers, he says it hinges on which manager wants him most.
"I am an ambitious young player, and my goal is to build a great career. If I have to change clubs, it will be for a team where the coach really wants me. I choose a club for its project, not for its name or prestige. I will not leave just to leave."
