Nottingham Forest's Ola Aina and the 79 other Premier League stars out of contract in 2025
The winter transfer window has not long since closed, but Nottingham Forest will already have one eye on their summer business.
Part of the Reds’ forward planning will involve making decisions on their own players who are coming towards the end of their contracts. On that front, head coach Nuno Espirito Santo said earlier this week he remains confident Ola Aina will soon put pen to paper on fresh terms.
An automatic year’s extension is set to be triggered on the full-back’s contract, which is due to expire in the summer. However, talks have taken place regarding a further extension for the Nigeria international.

Forest have several other players who will walk away for nothing on June 30, as things stand. The same applies at many of their Premier League rivals.
