Omar Marmoush statement issued as 'Liverpool target agrees transfer'
Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director has revealed that the club has not received any offers for attacker Omar Marmoush.
The Egpytian has been linked with both Manchester City and Liverpool this season, with Sky Sports reporting that Marmoush has agreed a deal in principle to move to City.
However, Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche said: “There is still no inquiry, no email, no offer. Our intention is to keep the squad together."

Marmoush is enjoying a brilliant season in Germany with Frankfurt, scoring 18 goals and registering 12 assists in 24 appearances in all competitions — numbers bettered only by Mohamed Salah in Europe's top five leagues.

The 25-year-old, who plays alongside Salah at international level, looks more likely to end up at City than Liverpool at this moment in time.
Sky Sports reports that negotiations between City and Frankfurt are set to start imminently after Marmoush agreed to become a part of Pep Guardiola's side.
Frankfurt is said to value Marmoush at around $82million and City could make an opening offer for the player as early as this weekend. City is said to believe a transfer fee of between $52million and $62million is more realistic, but Frankfurt will likely reject an offer that is significantly below its asking price.
City went into this season without a recognized alternative to Erling Haaland after the club sold Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid last summer, and that has placed a heavy goal-scoring burden on the Norwegian.
While Haaland has scored 21 goals in 27 appearances, City's next highest scorer is Phil Foden with five goals, only two of which have come in the Premier League.
City hopes that the arrival of Marmoush will bring more goals to the squad and also provide an alternative option to Haaland in terms of the profile of player he is: smaller, agile, and more versatile — not dissimilar to Alvarez.
