Omar Marmoush transfer admission gives Liverpool crucial boost
Liverpool transfer chiefs may have been handed a boost in their rumored chase for Eintracht Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush - as his current employers confirmed that they will "study" any they receive for the forward.
Speculation continues to abound when it comes to the future of the Egyptian with the Bundesliga outfit, who has caught the eye with his performances over the past couple of seasons. The attacker has started the current campaign in dazzling form with 18 goals in 23 appearances.
His showings in Germany have caught the eye of several potential suitors, with giants Bayern Munich, Juventus and Napoli having been linked with the 25-year-old in recent times. According to The Athletic, Liverpool is among several Premier League sides keeping tabs on the marksman's availability.

That report claimed that Frankfurt expects Marmoush to potentially depart Deutsche Bank Park at the end of the current campaign. By that time, the highly-rated ace will have two years remaining on his deal, with the player expected to command a fee between $42m and $53m.
Now, Frankfurt's sporting director Bartosz Niedzwiedzki has addressed the speculation surrounding his team's key man as he revealed that he is yet to receive any offers for the star. Speaking to Egypt Independent, he said: "Omar Marmoush is the most important player in the team.
"We have not received any offers to sign the player, and all these reports are not true. The major international newspapers said that Manchester City, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Roma are all interested in signing Marmoush," he continued. "I don't know where this news comes from."
Despite these remarks, he did appear to suggest that Frankfurt will listen to offers from interested parties in the future, adding: "What is certain is that Frankfurt has not received any official offers from these or any other clubs. We usually don't comment on rumours, but if an official offer comes in, it will be studied by the management and Marmoush."
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will target a fresh offensive addition in the coming months, with Arne Slot currently boasting six senior forwards at his disposal. This said, uncertainty still surrounds the future of Mohamed Salah at Anfield, with the superstar having entered the final year of his contract.
As things stand, the Egyptian would be within his rights to depart Merseyside for nothing at the conclusion of his deal if fresh terms fail to be agreed. Previously, compatriot Marmoush has spoken about the purported interest in him from major European clubs as he insisted he is happy in Frankfurt.
In a telling remark back in September, he said: "We are like one big family. We always have good conversations and I feel very comfortable here. Of course, there are always topics of interest from other clubs. But the feeling I had here with the team, the coach, and the staff is indescribable. That's what inspired me to stay here."
