Palmer, Fernandez, Lavia, Colwill - Chelsea injury news and return dates for Man City
Chelsea ended a run of five Premier League matches without a win but are not in the clear just yet. Despite moving themselves back above Manchester City and into fourth spot, there are bigger tests to come.
Enzo Maresca's side made life hard for themselves once more at home to Wolves on Monday night and might have been more clinically punished by better opponents after once more dropping off after a strong start. However, second half goals from Noni Madueke and Marc Cucurella sealed a crucial three points.
Unlike City, who Chelsea travel to next weekend in a big game in the battle for the Champions League places, Maresca does have the benefit of a free run up to Saturday's clash. Pep Guardiola's men will be in action away to Paris Saint-Germain in a massive fight of their own for European qualification on Wednesday.

Chelsea may well feel they need all the help they can get, too, with City starting to hit their stride. It is a potentially tricky run on the horizon as well for Maresca. His team welcome West Ham before then playing Brighton away twice in the space of a week. A journey to Aston Villa follows at the end of February.
Here, football.london has the latest injury news from the club ahead of a busy and important few weeks.
Cole Palmer
Injury: Ankle.
The Chelsea forward played 84 minutes against Wolves and had one of his quieter matches. After the game Maresca admitted that he was still enduring pain in his ankle after taking a knock against Bournemouth. He had been listed as one of the doubts pre-game after not training ahead of the match.
What Maresca said: "Cole played with a small problem in his ankle." He added: "For Cole, with the problem in his ankle he was there second half asking for the ball.
"He was a little bit the leader in the team in that moment so we are very happy with the Cole performance. Overall, the situation with the injuries in this moment and we try and adapt to find a solution."
Possible return date: Manchester City (A) - Saturday, January 25.
Wesley Fofana
Injury: Hamstring.
Fofana has been out since early December after yet another injury issue. He had to go off against Aston Villa and Maresca revealed earlier this month that he feared the defender could miss the rest of the season.
The player has disputed that and is now back outside at Cobham and in partial training, football.london understands. His return will be extremely carefully managed.
What Maresca said: "For sure, Wes is a huge loss. I don't think this kind of injury can be compared to the rest.
"This one is muscle and previously he hasn't had any muscle problems, so it's completely different. It's a bit unlucky, but he will be back and he will be good in the way he was before he was injured."
Possible return date: April.
Levi Colwill
Colwill was one of those who didn't train prior to facing Wolves. He was not included in the squad either and was not seen at Stamford Bridge.
Injury: Unknown.
What Maresca said: "Levi was not in the session today [Friday, January 17], Enzo [Fernandez] was not in the session today, Romeo [Lavia] was not in the session today. We have three or four players that are a doubt for Monday's game because in the last game they got some problems."
Possible return date: Manchester City (A) - Saturday, January 25.
Romeo Lavia
Injury: Muscular.
Lavia is back on the sidelines for Chelsea and faces several more weeks out of action. Reports suggest that the midfielder will not immediately return to the team after also missing training.
What Maresca said: "Romeo is more important than Enzo. We don't know yet how long they are going to be out. Hopefully not too long." He added: "The Romeo one was the yellow card, I don't know if you remember the yellow card."
Possible return date: March.
Enzo Fernandez
Injury: Muscular.
Initial reports claim that Fernandez's injury is not thought to be too serious but the midfielder will still face at least a week out of the team.
What Maresca said: "Romeo is more important than Enzo. We don't know yet how long they are going to be out. Hopefully not too long." He added: "The Romeo one was the yellow card, I don't know if you remember the yellow card."
Possible return date: Brighton (A) - Saturday, February 8.
