Patrick Dorgu breaks silence after watching Man United defeat vs Crystal Palace
Manchester United's new signing Patrick Dorgu insists he can't wait to get started at Old Trafford after making a move from Lecce on Sunday.
The Reds completed the £29.5m signing of Dorgu on Sunday morning after a prolonged saga with Lecce where the Italian club had insisted he was not going to leave. However, eventually a deal was agreed as United head coach Ruben Amorim made it his mission to strengthen the left side of his squad.
After conducting his medical and undergoing his media commitments, Dorgu made his way to Old Trafford to be introduced to the United fans. Taking to the pitch ahead of the game against Crystal Palace alongside fellow new signing Ayden Heaven, Dorgu posed with the shirt before taking his place in the stands to watch his new team in action.

Sadly for the Danish international, United struggled to break down fellow mid-table side Palace and were made to pay as Jean-Philippe Mateta's brace won the game for the Eagles. Despite watching the Reds' 11th Premier League defeat of the season, Dorgu does not appear to have lost his desire to play for the Reds.
Writing on Instagram, Dorgu explained: "Chapter II. Very happy to be a part of the family. Can’t wait to get started!"
Fortunately for Dorgu, there will not be a long wait for him to potentially make his debut for the club. United host Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday night and the wing-back is available to appear in that game.
