Patrick Mahomes Confirms Daughter Golden, 3 Weeks, Will Be Going to the Super Bowl — and Shares How It Motivates Him to Win
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback welcomed his third baby with wife Brittany Mahomes on Jan. 12
Patrick Mahomes will be feeling the love from his family at the Super Bowl — including his baby daughter.
While speaking to media, including PEOPLE, during Super Bowl week press conferences, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 29, confirmed that his baby daughter Golden Raye, whom he welcomed on Jan. 12 with wife Brittany Mahomes, will be attending the big game on Sunday, Feb. 9 in New Orleans.
"It’s always motivating whenever you have another baby. I mean, just because I want them to have the same experiences that the other two have," Mahomes says of how his daughter is motivating him to win the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles.
"She’s been amazing, she’s been sleeping well. Mom’s been extremely happy, and I’m excited for her to be able to come," he continues. "I think it’ll be her first football game at the Super Bowl and I hope that we get her a win."

On Jan. 12, the Mahomes family welcomed their third baby, announcing the exciting news on Instagram with a black-and-white photo.
In the photo, Brittany and Patrick could be seen holding their baby daughter's feet above a wooden sign that read her name. "•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨," they wrote in the caption of their joint post.
The newest addition to the family joins their daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son, Patrick "Bronze", 2.
Since then, the couple has shared a few glimpses of their baby daughter. At the end of January, Brittany shared an adorable clip on her Instagram Stories, showing newborn Golden's little feet. The onesie that she was wearing had footballs printed on her legs and both feet — a sweet nod to her father.
"The cutest little feet 🥹" wrote the Kansas City Current co-owner in text over the video.
Earlier this week, Brittany shared that she was "happy" to not be pregnant anymore as she posted a few photos on her Instagram. “Ever since I have been home from having golden I have had a green recovery score (except the first night),” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Brittany continued, “I’m very confused but I also am just happy to not be pregnant and tired all the time. Less sleep better recovery?? Make it make sense.”
The mom of three shared a Boomerang sitting outside, admiring the clear skies.
“What a beautiful day it is wow,” she wrote over the video, adding a heart-eyed emoji. “Golden girl sees the sun for the first time today.”
