Nick Montgomery insists Hibs have yet to decide the futures of "ultimate professionals" Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson.

The club legends - plus veteran keeper David Marshall - are out of contract this summer. It's expected the trio will be allowed to move on as Bournemouth owner Bill Foley prepares to bankroll an end-of-season transfer rebuild following a dismal campaign.

Skipper Hanlon, 34, has started just 10 Premiership games this term while one-club man Stevenson has played just 19 minutes of football since January. Montgomery acknowledges the duo will be frustrated with their lack of game time but hailed their model professionalism.

He said: "We've said that we'll get to the end of the season and have those conversations. But you are talking about two players who are fantastic servants to the club and ultimate professionals.

"They are probably frustrated in terms of the game time they've had but what they have done is being great team-mates. The likes of them and the few others who are out of contract, those will be decisions that will happen in the next few weeks."
