Paul Warne issues Derby County transfer update as triple deal targeted
Paul Warne says Derby County are in need of "something different" and says adding more goal threat is chief among his priorities.
The Rams head coach has made just one signing in the January window so far with Lars-Jorgen Salvesen arriving from Viking FK.
Derby are hoping to wrap up a deal for a centre-back in the coming days, a need heightened by Curtis Nelson being ruled out for the season with an ACL injury.

But adding goals to the team is also on the agenda before the window closes on February 3 wth a winger and a midfielder on the list.
"I have been saying for a while that we need a goal threat," said Warne after Saturday's defeat to Cardiff. "It could be from an eight or a 10. We do need more goal threat.
"That's what we will endeavour to do. We do have issues at centre-back as well and we have to use the window to strengthen the team.
"The dressing room needs it as well by the way. You bring in a new player like Lars who has lifted the place. Lads want competition. It's an awful thing to say but you want to see better players in the dressing room as a player just not in your own position.
"Everybody is working hard behind the scenes to reinvest in the team to give them more of an edge. We are asking the same people to turn out every week. We do need something different and hopefully that will happen in the next few days."
