PFL reveals welterweight, featherweight tournament fields for 2025
The PFL on Wednesday announced the first two of its eight tournament fields for this year.
At welterweight, three former Bellator champions – Jason Jackson (18-5), Andrey Koreshkov (28-5) and Logan Storley (16-3) – headline the field. The five other fighters are 2024 PFL finalist Magomed Umalatov (17-1), Mukhamed Berkhamov (17-2), Florim Zendeli (10-1), Giannis Bachar (9-2), and Masayuki Kikuiri (10-2-1).
In the featherweight division, 2023 PFL champion Jesus Pinedo (23-6-1) and former Bellator title challenger Jeremy Kennedy (19-5) lead the way. Gabriel Braga (15-2), Adam Borics (19-2), Movid Khaybulaev (21-0-1), Yves Landu (21-9), Nathan Kelly (11-3), and Sang Won Kim (13-6-1) fill out the field.
The PFL welterweight and featherweight tournaments will kick off with first-round matchups April 11 on the backlot of Universal Studios Florida.
This marks the first year that PFL is hosting tournaments (in eight divisions) after announcing earlier this year that it would be ditching its season format in which fighters earned points in two regular season fights to make the playoffs.
As opposed to a $1 million grand prize to PFL champions in years' past, the winner of each division tournament will receive a $500,000 bonus.
