Pictures show cars crushed by trees in Glasgow as clean-up begins after storm
Workers have been pictured removing collapsed trees from cars in Glasgow after the city was battered by aggressive winds.
In images captured by the Glasgow Times, Glasgow City Council staff have been photographed sawing fallen trees in Park Circus in the West End on Saturday, January 25.
It comes after the city was hit by Storm Eowyn on Friday, January 24 - which brought high winds to the area.
Ahead of the brutal weather conditions, the Met Office issued a red weather warning for Glasgow and central Scotland.

The rare red alert was in place between 10am and 5pm on Friday.
Meanwhile, another shocking picture shows how a red Honda has been crushed by a massive tree in the city's Hillhead area.

Meanwhile, pictures have now revealed the extent of the damage caused to Celtic Park in the East End during the storm.
We reported how Celtic's clash with Dundee, which was meant to take place today (Saturday, January 25) was postponed due to damage sustained to the Hoops stadium.

A spokesperson for Celtic said: "Today’s scheduled Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Dundee at Celtic Park has been called off.
"Unfortunately, due to the stadium damage sustained yesterday, we have been advised that we are unable to proceed with today's match.
"While clearly this is disappointing, the safety of our supporters will always be our priority.
"The rearranged fixture will take place on February 5, 2025, with a 7.45pm kick-off."
