WARRINGTON Wolves' preparations for the 2025 season are to go up a notch this week.
The squad have escaped the January cold of north west England for a week in sunnier climes as they undertake a pre-season training camp in Tenerife.
The Spanish island has been a popular pre-season destination for Warrington teams of the past, but this is their first visit there since 2017 having enjoyed camps in Portugal under both Steve Price and Daryl Powell.
And now with their first competitive fixture of the new year - the Challenge Cup tie against either Whitehaven or Swinton Lions - a little under three weeks away, Sam Burgess and his players will now have a week of uninterrupted training time at the world-class facilities provided by Tenerife Top Training.
