Player ratings as Plymouth Argyle come from behind to beat West Brom
Here are the player ratings of Plymouth Live's Argyle reporter Chris Errington from the Pilgrims' 2-1 win against West Bromwich Albion at Home Park. You can give your marks too using our special widget further down this story.
Conor Hazard 7 - For all of West Brom's possession - it was 70 per cent to 30 in their favour according to the match stats - Hazard was rarely called into action, although he did make an excellent double stop during a goalmouth scramble in the second half when it was still 0-0, blocking attempts from John Swift and Mikey Johnston.
Maksym Talovierov 7 - Rewarded the faith placed in him by Miron Muslic by going straight into the Argyle side and putting in an assured defensive display after just one training session with his new team-mates. You could see how fired up he was too with his reaction to making a couple of important, no-holds-barred challenges.

Nikola Katic 7 - As with Maksym Talovierov, it was quite a challenge for Katic to make his debut for the Pilgrims only a day after completing his loan move from Swiss Super League side FC Zurich but he coped well in the circumstances. His height and experience certainly came in very useful.
Julio Pleguezuelo 7 - Deservedly kept his place in the starting line-up despite the introductions of Maksym Talovierov and Nikola Katic but it did mean him switching from the right side of the defence to the left. It was clear he was not always comfortable in that new position but Pleguezuelo gave it his all.
Matty Sorinola 7 - After the end of every game it looks like Sorinola is running on empty and this was another example of that as he worked tirelessly from the first minute until the last one. He was up against a talented attacker in Mikey Johnston for a lot of the match but he stood up to the test well.
Adam Randell 7 - The captain has bounced back well from a dip in form and been much more like his usual self in the 2-2 draw at Sunderland and now the victory over West Brom. Playing a little further up the pitch, rather than sitting in front of a deep-lying defence is suiting him better.
Jordan Houghton 7 - Has had only limited Championship starts this season but has now put in solid back-to-back performances against Sunderland and West Brom, whose central midfield pair of Alex Mowatt and John Swift can be very influential in games but Houghton and Adam Randell gave a good account of themselves up against them.
Tymoteusz Puchacz 8 STAR MAN - With two debutants in central defence it allowed the Poland international to return to the left wing-back role which he impressed in when he first joined Argyle early in January. Puchacz plays with a lot of determination and energy, and his crossing is a real asset which the Pilgrims need to look to exploit as much as possible.
Michael Baidoo 4 - It is still early days for Baidoo at Argyle and it is clearly taking him time to adjust to life at his new club and the level of the Championship but his display before being substituted at half-time was nowhere near the level required.
Callum Wright 6 - Was set up for one good scoring opportunity in the first half by a pass from Adam Randell but he could not take the ball in his stride as he broke into the West Brom box and the chance was gone. Had a couple of other promising attacking moments but they did not lead to anything and made way for Ryan Hardie in the 70th minute.
Mustapha Bundu 6 - Had a rare start up front for Argyle and did a decent job of it up against West Brom centre-backs Mason Holgate and Torbjorn Heggem. Bundu was able to hold the ball up with his back to goal at times, while on other occasions he span away to create some space and passing options.
SUBSTITUTES
Rami Al Hajj 5 - Was a direct replacement for Michael Baidoo at the start of the second half but Argyle could still not get the attacking threat they needed from that position.
Ryan Hardie 8 - The striker doubled his goal tally for the season from two to four in less than half an hour on the pitch against West Brom. First, Hardie successfully converted a 77th minute penalty, despite his former Argyle team-mate Alex Palmer trying to play mind games with him, and then he drove a low angled shot past the ex-Pilgrims' loanee in the 88th minute to clinch three very welcome points.
Michael Obafemi 6 - Took over up front from Mustapha Bundu in the 70th minute. The on-loan Burnley striker had a great chance to put Argyle 2-1 up when Ryan Hardie set him up from a close range shot but his attempt lacked the accuracy or power to beat Alex Palmer.
Victor Palsson - With Nikola Katic starting to show signs of tiredness, Palsson was sent on to replace him immediately after Ryan Hardie's 77th minute penalty equaliser and made a couple of important challenges in the closing stages.
Darko Gyabi - Jordan Houghton took a knock late on so Gyabi came off the bench for him in the 85th minute.
Substitutes (not used): Dan Grimshaw, Bali Mumba, Nathanael Ogbeta, Muhamed Tijani.
