Plymouth Argyle confirm Tymoteusz Puchacz loan signing with option to buy
Plymouth Argyle have completed the loan signing of Poland international Tymoteusz Puchacz from German Bundesliga club Holstein Kiel until the end of the season.
The deal comes with an option for the Pilgrims to turn it into a permanent transfer after the end of the 2024/25 campaign. Puchacz, who celebrate his 26th birthday later this month, has played 15 times for Poland and was an unused substitute for all three of their group games at Euro 2024 in Germany.
Puchacz is Argyle's second new arrival of the January transfer window and comes after the club record signing of Ghana international midfielder Michael Baidoo from Swedish top flight side Elfsborg.

The left-back began his career in his homeland at Lech Poznan and has gone on to play in Germany, Turkey and Greece. Now he has joined Argyle's fight for Championship survival.
Head of recruitment Jimmy Dickinson said: "Tymoteusz is someone we have been aware of and monitoring for a few months. He comes to Argyle with an excellent record and varied experience from several big clubs throughout Europe.
"There was plenty of competition for his signature, but he is excited by the challenge ahead and felt Argyle was the best fit for the next stage of his career.
"He is naturally left footed, good on the ball, and consistently provides assists, so will provide good balance to the left side of defence but also add further competition for places. I am thrilled he has joined and look forward to seeing him in an Argyle shirt soon."
Puchacz will wear number 17 for Argyle and be available for selection for the Emirates FA Cup third round tie against Brentford on Saturday should EFL and international clearance be received in time.
