Plymouth Argyle player ratings from battling draw against Stoke City
Here are the player ratings of Plymouth Live's Argyle reporter Chris Errington from the Pilgrims' 0-0 draw against Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium. You can give your marks too using our special widget further down this story.
Conor Hazard 7 - Made a couple of saves you would expect a Championship goalkeeper to make during this game, but they were important ones nonetheless given the fact Argyle have still only scored three times away from home all season. Was out swiftly to dive at the feet on Stoke striker Tom Cannon and grab the ball during the second half. Hazard finished with just the Pilgrims' second clean sheet of the campaign.
Kornel Szucs 6 - With the departure of Lewis Gibson to Championship rivals Preston North End in a £1.5m transfer, there is now increased responsibility on Szucs to perform at a consistent level, and he made a decent start of that against Stoke.

Julio Pleguezuelo 7 - Has been in and out of the side all season. Sometimes the Spaniard has looked well off the pace and a little bit lightweight for a Championship centre-back but on other occasions, and this was one of them, he played with real determination and physicality. More of this and he will stay in the side.
Brendan Galloway 6 - Getting as regular run of games will do Galloway the world of good after all the injury problems he has had during his time at Argyle. Playing on the left of a defensive trio definitely suits him and he showed good composure even when Stoke were pressing hard in the second half.
Matty Sorinola 7 - Was close to picking up a third consecutive 'Star Man' choice after another very committed performance from him. He covered lots of ground for Argyle and it was probably exhaustion, as much as a slight knock, which led to his substitution in the 79thy minute. Fans love players who leave it all out on the pitch like Sorinola did against Stoke.
Darko Gyabi 6 - Had arguably Argyle's best scoring chance of the game when he made a terrific surging run through the centre of the pitch in the first half but having done the hard work he could not come up with the finish he needed when he shot from the edge of the penalty area, sending the ball straight at goalkeeper Viktor Johansson.
Adam Randell 7 - The captain really got stuck in during the second half as Stoke pressed hard for an opening but could not find one. The way Randell doubled up with Argyle's left wing-back - at first Bali Mumba and then Nathanael Ogbeta after he came on as a substitute - to deal with Stoke's main threat, on-loan Liverpool teenage attacker Lewis Koumas - was vital.
Bali Mumba 8 STAR MAN - The left wing-back had much more defending to do than attacking, and was up against a very talented opponent in Lewis Koumas, but he did well to limit his effectiveness, putting his speed to track back to good use. Also, when he did get on the ball Mumba was calm and always looked to be constructive with it, rather than just giving away possession. All signs of an increasing assurance from him.
Morgan Whittaker 6 - This was not a game for Whittaker to show off his attacking attributes. He largely had to play his part in defending, although he did have one scoring opportunity in the first half with a shot from outside the Stoke box which was deflected wide for a corner. Was pushed up front when the Pilgrims witched to 5-3-2 in the second half.
Rami Al Hajj 6 - It was pretty much the same for Al Hajj as it was for Morgan Whittaker as they occupied the two 'number 10' roles in Argyle's initial 3-4-2-1 formation. He had some good touches on the ball at times but without much end product.
Michael Obafemi 5 - The mark is no reflection on the effort of Obafemi. He just did not see much of the ball as he led the attack in place of Ryan Hardie, who Kevin Nancekivell said missed out on the match due to the shoulder injury he picked up in the 2-2 New Year's Day draw against Bristol City.
SUBSTITUTES
Freddie Issaka 5 - Was a 64th minute substitute for Michael Obafemi and the 18-year-old played as a central striker rather than in a wide attacking role as he has mainly done in the past.
Adam Forshaw 6 - Sent on for Darko Gyabi in the 70th minute and the experienced midfielder was not afraid to get stuck in and make some ball-winning challenges as Argyle came under sustained pressure.
Jordan Houghton - Took over from Rami Al Hajj in the 79th minute as Argyle looked to tighten up even more defensively for the closing stages of the game.
Nathanael Ogbeta - When Matty Sorinola was taken off in the 79th minute, Bali Mumba went across to right wing-back and Ogbeta played on the left. That meant he was up against Lewis Koumas but he coped well with him.
Substitutes (not used): Dan Grimshaw, Ibrahim Cissoko, Caleb Roberts, Tegan Finn, Victor Palsson.
