Here are the player ratings of Plymouth Live's Argyle reporter Chris Errington from the Pilgrims' 5-0 drubbing by Burnley at Home Park. You can give your marks too using our special widget further down this story.

Dan Grimshaw 4 - It really was a thankless task being Argyle's goalkeeper given the dismal first half display from his team-mates. Grimshaw conceded five goals but it could have been more had it not been for a couple of good saves.

Julio Pleguezuelo 5 - I will not call it 'Star Man' on this occasion, how can you after a 5-0 home defeat when all the goals came in the first half, but credit to the Spanish defender for showing a fighting spirit even though he took a heavy knock during the first half but was still battling to make challenges late in the game.

Victor Palsson 3 - It was his mistake which led to Burnley taking the lead in the 11th minute with their first of five goals before half-time. His weak clearance under pressure from Jaidon Anthony, after the Iceland international had initially tried to let the ball run out of play for a goal kick, went straight to Josh Brownhill, whose brilliant cross was was superbly finished off by Zian Flemming.

Tymoteusz Puchacz 4 - Miron Muslic had only two fit central defenders available for selection but opted to go with a 3-4-2-1 formation against Burnley and played the Poland international out of position on the left of the back line.

Bali Mumba 4 - Was one of the reasons why Argyle did not concede a goal in the second half, along with the fact that Burnley did not seem overly interested in trying to add to their tally, by showing some defensive determination after switching from the right wing-back role to the left.

Adam Randell 3 - Argyle's captain fronted up to face the media after this rout and accepted his share of the blame. Burnley's fifth goal in first half stoppage time came as a result of a back pass from Randell which was easily intercepted by Zian Flemming, and although his shot was blocked by Dan Grimshaw his team-mate Josh Cullen followed up to score.

Darko Gyabi 3 - Played the whole game but, as in recent matches, he and Adam Randell were completely outplayed in central midfield.

Nathanael Ogbeta 3 - A rare start for Ogbeta and it came at left wing-back, but Burnley destroyed Argyle down that side of the pitch and he was one of three players taken off at the interval.

Michael Baidoo 3 - Argyle's club record signing has yet to find his feet for his new side, although that is hardly surprising given the nowhere near good enough overall performances from the Pilgrims.

Rami Al Hajj 3 - Was picked as one of the two 'number 10s' behind striker Ryan Hardie, along with Michael Baidoo, but was totally ineffective and replaced for the start of the second half.

Ryan Hardie 3 - The striker did not even have a sniff of a chance for Argyle against a Burnley side who have conceded only nine goals in the Championship all season. He was also substituted at the break.

SUBSTITUTES

Mustapha Bundu 5 - The game was well and truly over by the time Bundu took over from Ryan Hardie at the start of the second half but he did add some life into Argyle's attacking play, with an early shot going not far wide.

Matty Sorinola 5 - Was sent on for Nathanael Ogbeta and played at right wing-back, with Bali Mumba moving across to the left. Picked up Argyle's only yellow card for a late foul on Josh Laurent, which led to Hannibal Mejbri curling a free-kick over Dan Grimshaw's crossbar.

Callum Wright 5 - He was another of the trio of half-time substitutions made by Miron Muslic as he replaced Rami Al Hajj. There was some improvement from Argyle from an attacking perspective in the second period but Burnley defended strongly when they had to.

Jordan Houghton 5 - Was sent on for Adam Randell in the 70th minute and also took over the captain's armband from him.

Tegan Finn - The 16-year-old made his fourth appearance for the first team as an 82nd minute substitute for Michael Baidoo.

Substitutes (not used): Zak Baker, Ibrahim Cissoko, Caleb Roberts, Freddie Issaka.
