Plymouth Argyle player ratings from incredible FA Cup defeat of Liverpool
Here are the player ratings of Plymouth Live's Argyle reporter Chris Errington from the Pilgrims' historic 1-0 Emirates FA Cup fourth round win against Premier League leaders Liverpool at Home Park. You can give your marks too using our special widget further down this story.
Conor Hazard 8 - Was not troubled too much by Liverpool but the few saves he did have to make were outstanding ones, particularly from Diogo Jota's hooked shot in added time at the end of the match when he reached high to his right to push the ball away for a corner when it hitting the net seemed far more likely.
Maksym Talovierov 8 - His no-nonsense defending, both on the ground and in the air, and his sheer passion - exemplified by the way he celebrates important tackles - has already made 'Maxi' a firm favourite with the Green Army after just two games for the club.

Nikola Katic 9 STAR MAN - Was left bloodied and lost a tooth when he collided with team-mate Adam Randell during the first half but was soon back in the thick of the action. Katic really came into his own as Liverpool chased an equaliser late on as he made one headed clearance after another, produced terrific tackles and blocked shots. Absolutely outstanding.
Julio Pleguezuelo 8 - Maksym Talovierov and Nikole Katic have made an immediate impact in their first two games for Argyle since joining towards the end of the winter transfer window but the good recent performances of Pleguezuelo should not be overlooked either. Had to be taken off in the 67th minute after struggling with an injury he had picked up earlier on.
Matty Sorinola 8 - Put in the latest in an impressive list of recent all-action performances at right wing-back for Argyle. He has come a very long way from not even getting into the matchday squads under former boss Wayne Rooney and is very much keeping Bali Mumba out of the side on merit at the moment.
Adam Randell 7 - Liverpool, as would have been expected, had most of the possession during the cup tie - 75 per cent to 25 per cent -so it was important that Argyle's captain alongside Darko Gyabi worked extremely hard in central midfield to set the tone for the team's important defensive structure.
Darko Gyabi 7 - Brought into the team at the expense of Jordan Houghton, perhaps because of his extra athleticism to try to counteract Liverpool's attacking play. If that was the case, it worked. It was when Gyabi hooked the ball towards goal that Liverpool's Harvey Elliott's was penalised for handball and Argyle were awarded the penalty which Ryan Hardie converted to win them the cup tie.
Tymoteusz Puchacz 8 - The Poland international turning out to be an excellent January signing for the Pilgrims. Was full of energy, commitment and determination in all of the defending he did as the left wing-back, but when he got forward he had some attacking quality as well.
Ryan Hardie 8 - With his young son, Arthur, watching on as a mascot and proudly wearing an Argyle shirt with '9 Daddy' on the back of it, Hardie ran his socks off as usual and came up with the goal which knocked out eight-times FA Cup winners Liverpool. With the pressure on, he held his nerve to calmly slot home the 54th minute penalty before taking the acclaim of the Devonport End.
Callum Wright 7 - What a moment for the Liverpool fan, first to play against his hometown club and then to beat them. He had a good game as well, and looks fitter and sharper than he did earlier in the season. That was reflected in the fact he played the whole of the match.
Mustapha Bundu 7 - While Argyle did not create many scoring chances when they did they were often because of good link up play between the front three of Bundu, Callum Wright and Ryan Hardie. His physicality seems to suit the approach Miron Muslic wants to see from his side.
SUBSTITUTES
Victor Palsson 7 - The Iceland international spent a couple of years at Liverpool early in his career but did not breakthrough into their first team, so he must have enjoyed the chance to come as a 67th minute substitute for Julio Pleguezuelo and play his part in Argyle's determined rearguard action in the closign stages of the game.
Malachi Boateng 6 - The transfer deadline day signing from Scottish Premiership side Hearts made his Argyle debut when he took over from Adam Randell in central midfield in the 72nd minute.
Muhamed Tijani 6 - Also came off the bench in the 72nd minute when he replaced Mustapha Bundu. Tijani went up front for the Pilgrims, using his physical presence to win flick-ons or try to hold the ball up as Liverpool applied late pressure. He also had one diving header which was blocked on its way towards goal by Harvey Elliott.
Michael Obafemi - Was an 81st minute substitute for Ryan Hardie, who received a tremendous ovation from a very appreciative Green Army as he left the pitch after putting in a terrific shift for Argyle, as well as scoring the goal which went on to win them the cup tie.
Substitutes (not used): Dan Grimshaw, Bali Mumba, Jordan Houghton, Rami Al Hajj, Michael Baidoo.
