Plymouth Argyle team news as Julio Pleguezuelo ruled out against Millwall
Plymouth Argyle will be without Julio Pleguezuelo for the Championship clash against Millwall at Home Park tomorrow but another defender, Kornel Szucs, is available for selection again.
Pleguezuelo was substituted in the second half of the shock 1-0 Emirates FA Cup fourth round victory over Premier League leaders Liverpool at Home Park on Sunday due to an adductor muscle injury, which has troubled him in recent matches.
Victor Palsson came off the substitutes' bench to replace Pleguezuelo and put in a strong display, but Pilgrims' boss Miron Muslic now also has the option of calling upon Szucs for the game against Alex Neil's 14th-placed Millwall.

The Hungary international defender had been ruled out by injury since the 0-0 draw away to Stoke City on January 4 but has successfully taken a full part in training over the past week.
Pleguezuelo has started all nine of Argyle's games, both in the Championship and the FA Cup, since the start of 2025 so it has been a heavy workload for him. Muslic said: "He has a little injury. Pleggy will be out for tomorrow and hopefully we can regain him in the next seven to 10 days."
That timescale would see the Spaniard also potentially missing the away games against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday and Luton Town next Wednesday before a potential return to the squad for the visit of Cardiff City on February 22.
Muslic added: "It's an adductor thing. He has struggled recently with that. Don't forget, Pleggy played almost everything over the last six, seven, eight weeks. That's now a little bit the consequence.
"The good thing about this is he knows his body exactly. We have also the confirmation of the scan, it won't take too long. Hopefully, seven to 10 days and he will be back on the pitch again."
As for the return to fitness of Szucs, the head coach said: "I think he's in a fantastic way, already seven or eight days fully involved with the team and had big, big sessions with us. He will be the first time in the selection after his injury."
Not surprisingly, the sheer amount of effort that Argyle's players put into the FA Cup tie against Liverpool just a couple of days ago has taken a little bit of a toll on some of them ahead of the Millwall match. Muslic said: "There are some doubts, let's say, because the physical output was high, just very, very demanding. Let's see."
One Argyle player who can always be relied upon for maximum effort is Matty Sorinola, who struggled to get much game time under former boss Wayne Rooney earlier this season but has put in a string of excellent performances at right wing-back recently.
The 23-year-old has become a favourite of the Green Army because of the endeavour he shows, which has often led to him suffering from cramp in the closing stages of games.
Muslic said: "I realised very soon his big, big heart and how strong he is in a one-on-one. Maybe his height helps him to be super mobile, super agile on the first one or two metres, so it's very difficult for the opponents, even though you are facing most of the time agile, fast wingers, nines, 10s.
"That makes him so solid defensively, plus blessed with a big, big heart but also blessed with the needed aggressiveness in the duels defensively, and always ready to support our offensive attack. I think Matty is in a very good way and he needs to keep this level then he is a big, big help for us."
