The Green Army are clearly undeterred by Plymouth Argyle's winless run of eight away games in the Championship this season.

Argyle announced this morning that they had sold out their allocation of more than 3,200 tickets for the game against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday, November 30 (3pm). It is the Pilgrims' shortest round trip of the 2024/25 campaign at 240 miles, but even so it is still terrific support to watch a team who have picked up just two points and only scored a couple of goals on their travels.

The Atyeo Stand will be packed out, just as it was when Steven Schumacher took Argyle there last term. The official announced attendance of 23,017 included 3,394 members of the Green Army and they saw their side beaten 4-1, after conceding two goals in the opening eight minutes.

Those fans making the trip to Ashton Gate for the latest meeting between the south west rivals will clearly be hoping for a lot better than that this time around.

Liam Manning's City are in 10th position in the Championship, with 22 points from 15 games, and they have a home record of two wins, four draws and one defeat. Their average home league attendance this term is 22,009, which is the 11th best in the division.

The last time Argyle faced Bristol City was on Easter Monday, April 1, when a 1-0 win for the Robins was followed a couple of hours later by the dismissal of Pilgrims' head coach Ian Foster.
