Poor Cardiff City player ratings as creative players anonymous and glut of mistakes prove costly
Here is how we rated the Cardiff City players in the Boxing Day clash with Oxford United
Jak Alnwick 4
Three goals flew past him in the blink of an eye. Had to save a couple of long-range efforts.

Andy Rinomhota 5
Continues to be a decent option, if limited, on the right-hand side of that defence.
Dimitrios Goutas 4
Did an OK job of keeping Mark Harris quiet for the most part - but the Wales striker ghosted beyond him to tap home the opener.
Calum Chambers 4
Generally did OK but he was sucked out of position for that Harris goal too.
Joel Bagan 4
Started off brightly against Przemysław Płacheta before he let him get that assist in for Harris. Crossing not up to scratch.
Callum O'Dowda 5
A boost to have him back in the team and he sent in some decent crosses - but Cardiff always struggle to get on the end of them.
Manolis Siopis 5
A decent outing from the Greek. Broke things up in the middle and stuck to his task well. He is limited with the ball, mind.
Alex Robertson 4
A really quiet afternoon for the midfielder. Couldn't assert himself on proceedings at all. Cardiff needed more from him.
Rubin Colwill 4
Struggled to break past the low Oxford block. Strangely inaccurate with his crossing and failed to find that zip. Let Ciaron Brown go at the corner for the U's second.
Yakou Meite 5
Battled well at the top end of the pitch but had nothing to go at.
Chris Willock 5
Was bright early on and offered Cardiff a creative spark. Hit the bar with one deflected effort. Lost Placheta before he set up Harris. Off at half-time.
Subs
Callum Robinson (Willock 45) 6 - Played El Ghazi through for a chance and took one of his own really well late on.
Ronan Kpakio (Siopis 59) 5 - A decent outing for the teenager, recording an assist for his fellow academy graduate.
Anwar El Ghazi (O'Dowda 69) 4 - Was gutless during a 70/30 challenge - in his favour - with the 'keeper which he pulled out of.
Cian Ashford (Meite 69) 6 (star man) - Took his goal really well and showed some neat feet.
