'It's a possibility' - Real Betis issue update on Antony's future after Manchester United talks
Real Betis chief executive Ramon Alarcon has refused to rule out the possibility of Manchester United winger Antony staying at the club beyond the end of this season.
The Spanish outfit swooped for the Brazilian in the January transfer window, signing him on loan for the remainder of the season. The deal does not feature the option for Betis to make the move permanent in the summer.
Antony, 24, has made a bright start to his time in Spain, scoring his first goal for the club on just his second outing for the club, netting the opener in Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Celta Vigo. Both of his first two appearances for Betis have amounted to 72 minutes.

Signed by former United manager Erik ten Hag in September 2022, Antony had fallen out of favour at Old Trafford prior to last month's exit, failing to start a single Premier League game this season. He had featured just 14 times across all competitions.
Facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford, Betis chief Alarcon has admitted it is possible they may push to keep the winger at the club beyond the end of his loan spell.
Asked if there is a chance his loan move could be made permanent, he told Cadena Ser's Radio Sevilla: "I think so. The other day the CEO of United called me.
"We sent them all the moves and details of the player throughout the week so that they can see that we are looking after their asset. There is very good chemistry with Manchester [United] and with the player.
"It is a possibility that he will continue next season, why not?"
Signed from Ajax for a fee north of £80million, Antony signed a five-year contract at Old Trafford, keeping him at the club until 2027, with the option of an additional year. He has made 96 appearances for United in total, scoring 12 goals.
