Predicted Hull City line up for Doncaster Rovers with summer signing in line for his Tigers bow
Deadline day signing Carl Rushworth is set to make his long-awaited Hull City debut on Sunday when the Tigers kick off their FA Cup campaign against Doncaster Rovers.
Rushworth, who joined City on the final day of the summer window from Brighton and Hove Albion, has not yet made an appearance after suffering a major injury setback in October which has kept him sidelined since, but the FA Cup presents him with an opportunity after coming through a clear week in training.
City want to keep Rushworth at the club for the second half of the season, with him set to challenge Championship number one Ivor Pandur while Anthony Racioppi will be allowed to leave the MKM Stadium.

Elsewhere, Selles will likely make changes to his side but with a desire to progress in the competition and build some momentum at the club to take back into the Championship next weekend, he'll be loathed to shuffle his pack too much and risk going out early.
Andy Smith could come into contention, as will midfielder Rocco Coyle. The brother of skipper Lewie has been involved with the first team in recent weeks and was named on the bench for last weekend's pulsating 3-3 draw with Yorkshire rivals Leeds United. Harry Vaughan is almost certain to be handed a start having impressed in his two recent cameos against Middlesbrough and Leeds.
Abu Kamara will hope to keep his place and build on that captivating display in the derby, while Tyrell Sellars-Fleming is expected to be involved in some capacity. Selles must decide whether or not to start Joao Pedro again up front after a busy workload in recent weeks, especially with forward options limited given Chris Bedia's expected departure in the coming weeks.
In midfield, Selles could opt to bring back Xavier Simons into the fold and Manchester City loanee Fin Burns may also feature, though that decision may be impacted by his immediate future.
Ryan Longman is back in contention after recovering from the groin injury which kept him out of the games against Boro and Leeds following his winner at Blackburn Rovers, but new signing Matt Crooks is not expected to feature.
City's predicted starting XI: Rushworth, Jacob, Smith, Jones, Drameh, Burns, Simons, Vaughan, Kamara, Burstow, Pedro.
